Terms of use

1. The service

Teleport helps you save job postings, assess your fit, and optionally be discovered by recruiters. Fit scores and recommendations are automated estimates, not guarantees of any hiring outcome. They are not professional career, legal or financial advice.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of your resume and profile. You grant us a limited license to process them only to provide the features you enable. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it.

3. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. That includes scraping it, reverse engineering the recruiter API, uploading other people's data without their permission, or using Teleport to discriminate unlawfully.

4. Third-party sites and AI providers

Teleport works on job sites operated by others. Their terms still apply to you. If you connect your own AI provider, its terms govern that use and any costs it charges.

5. Recruiters

Recruiter customers agree to separate terms. These include using candidate data only for recruiting, honoring opt-outs, complying with anti-discrimination and privacy laws, and never re-identifying pseudonymous candidates.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, which is zero for the free extension.

7. Termination

You can stop using Teleport and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes

We will give notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after that notice means you accept the changes.
