Export and delete your data

Export the copy in your browser, download everything saved to your account, delete your account, and erase what Teleport stored in your browser.

All four controls are under Your data on the Privacy & data page, in the extension and in the web app.

Export local data#

Export local data downloads a JSON file with everything Teleport keeps in this browser: your profile, saved jobs, settings, sharing choices, resume versions, Ask a question history and company insights. Your AI key and sign-in credential are redacted.

Download account data#

Download account data downloads what your Teleport account holds: your profile, saved jobs, revised resumes, questions, company insights and share links, your history of sharing choices, and the log of recruiter actions that included you.

Delete my account#

Delete my account permanently deletes your Teleport account (your email and sign-in details) and everything saved to it: your profile, saved jobs, results, talent pool membership and every signed-in browser. You'll be asked to confirm, and you're signed out.

In the web app, the copy in that browser is removed too. In the extension, the copy in the browser stays until you click Delete local data. To use Teleport again, create a new account. You can use the same email.

Delete local data#

Delete local data removes your profile, resume, saved jobs and settings from this browser and signs you out. You'll be asked to confirm. Your account and the data saved to it stay, so you can sign in again and get everything back.

Uninstalling#

Removing Teleport from chrome://extensions deletes the copy in that browser. It doesn't delete your account.
