The Teleport web app

Use Teleport in any browser at teleportjobs.app/portal, with the same account as the extension. Add jobs by link or text, see your fit, and use every job tool.

The web app is your Teleport dashboard in any browser, including on your phone. You don't need the extension. Open teleportjobs.app/portal and sign in with the same account you use in the extension.

Sign up or sign in#

1. Open teleportjobs.app/portal.
2. Click Create account and enter your email and a password, or Sign in if you already have an account.
3. Make your sharing choices. Talent pools are off unless you turn them on.
4. Build your profile: paste or upload your resume, or answer a few questions. See account and onboarding.

You can also click Continue with Google at teleportjobs.app/portal. It signs in to the same account as Google sign-in in the extension.

During onboarding, Connect LinkedIn fills your name, email and photo from LinkedIn. LinkedIn only shares basic profile info, so finish with Upload resume or Start assessment.

Add a job#

The extension adds jobs from any posting in one click. In the web app:

1. Go to Saved jobs and click Add a job.
2. Paste a link to the posting and click Add job. Teleport's server opens the page and reads the job details.
3. If the page can't be read, or it's on a site Teleport doesn't open from its server (LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor), switch to Paste text and paste the title, company and job description.

The job opens with its fit score, strengths, gaps and tips.

Job tools#

Every saved job has the same tools as in the extension: Revise my resume, Company insights, Ask a question and Share. In the web app, company insights come from Teleport's server, which reads public sources only.

Extension and web app together#

Both use the same account, and changes sync both ways within a few seconds of each other. See saved to your account. The extension's dashboard has an Open web app link, and the web app has Get the Chrome extension.

Some settings only apply to the extension, like the Add to Teleport button on job sites and review capture, so the web app doesn't show them.

Your AI key in the web app#

If you use your own AI key, it's stored only in the browser where you enter it, never on Teleport's server. Enter it again on each browser where you want AI analysis. See use your own AI key.

Signing out#

Settings then Sign out ends the web session and removes Teleport's copy of your data from that browser. Your data stays in your account.

Is it secure?#

The web app keeps your session in a secure, httpOnly cookie that page scripts can't read, and protects every account action against cross-site requests. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
