Getting a recruiter access key
How recruiter organizations get an API key for the Teleport recruiter dashboard, and how to keep it safe.
The recruiter dashboard is for hiring teams who want to reach candidates that opted in to talent pools. Access uses an API key issued to your organization.
Request access#
There's no self-serve sign-up yet. Request access from the for recruiters page. The Teleport team creates a key for your organization and sends it to you.
Keeping your key safe#
- Treat the key like a password. Anyone with it can view your organization's pool data and send contact requests.
- Share it only with people on your hiring team.
- Teleport stores only a hash of your key, so a lost key can't be recovered. Ask for a new one, and the old one can be revoked.
Signing in#
- Open the recruiter dashboard.
- Paste your key into API key and click Continue.
The dashboard remembers the key in that browser's local storage. On a shared computer, clear the site's data in Chrome when you're done (Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings, then find teleportjobs.app).
If you see "Invalid key", check for extra spaces, or ask for a new key.
